OOHH! I Feel Famous!

Just to introduce myself to my loyal readers....I teach high school art. Specifically art metals and drawing and design. I have only been in the high school since fall but am loving it. Our current art metals project is to create a chain. So my little beginners are making their own links and linking them into the design of their choice. My TA however is a crazyman... but it turns out very inspirational for young metal artists. Today he wore body armor to school that he had made. A shirt of chain mail as well as a headpiece! Right out of King Arthur's court! The body suit weighed 27 pounds and the headpiece about 6...needless to say he was exhausted by the end of the day!
